Since 1986, we have hosted the exciting fusion of a world-class music festival and a summer school, attracting an international collective of artists, teachers, students and audiences..

For 2024, we are committed to provide you with the world-class Musicfest experience that you have grown to love.

Our concert programme includes the Welsh National Opera Orchestra,Braimah Kanneh -Mason and Junyan Chen,Catrin Finch and Aoife Ni Bhriain,Welsh folk group Pedair,Syrian pianist Riyad Nicolas and features Sinfonia Cymru in an astonishingly varied programme of concerts.

Our summer school offers have some new courses as well as our supremely successful well-established ones. These will include Violin, Viola, and Cello.  Flute, clarinet , our Vocal course, Composition,and a new Guitar course.

Our popular fringe events throughout Aberystwyth at more venues and more performances than ever before.

The summer school is unique offering individual training, structured Chamber music opportunities, orchestra experience and performance experience.

 

Festival Concerts

The daily evening with lunchtime concerts, along with the student hallway performances and impressive student concerts at the end of the week are a reminder of the youthful impact of listening to such high quality live music.
