Tomos Williams is an experienced jazz musician and educator who hails from Aberystwyth. He’s performed regularly at the Ceredigion Museum and Aberystwyth Arts Centre over recent years. He leads his own Welsh jazz/folk sextet Burum, an Indo-Welsh project ‘Khamira’, who’ve toured India, South Korea and Wales and his on-going ‘Cwmwl Tystion’ work – each project presenting a distinctive Welsh jazz voice. He is a trumpeter with a strong belief that access to jazz education, workshops and the communal elements of jazz performance is a crucial experience and stepping stone for any aspiring young musicians.
