Aberystwyth Musicfest 2026 will explore the visionary world of the child.

Our theme, ‘Pan oeddwn blentyn…’ – ‘When I was a child…’ will examine childhood, parent-child relationships, and myths of youth, through music. We are all shaped by childhood experiences, and understanding the voice of young people throughout the ages is crucial in addressing the problems of today’s troubled world.

Combining the finest Welsh artists with international guests, creating bold new works and crossing the boundaries of genres, Musicfest 2026 will offer an opportunity for creative communication, as we use culture to question what we can do to build a creatively-fulfilling society for future generations

Our summer school offers have some new courses as well as our supremely successful well-established ones. These will include Violin, Viola, and Cello, Flute, clarinet, our Vocal course and Composition.

Our popular fringe events throughout Aberystwyth at more venues and more performances than ever before.
